Radlett lies just inside the M25, to the north of Central London and is home to an affluent community of around 8,000.
The main road, Watling Street, is the main artery of Radlett and runs through the centre of the village. This is where all the shops, from boutique fashion to major retailers, are found. Watliing Street is home to a Tesco Express, but also has a Boots, Pizza Express, Budgens and Costa Coffee along with many other independent and local retailers. There are also many other restaurants which makes the retail area a very vibrant place. However, despite the affluence of the community, many retailers are struggling because of fierce competition from nearby towns and shopping centres such as Watford, Brent Cross, Borehamwood and St Albans that are attracting much needed customers.
As Radlett is located inside the M25 it enjoys efficient and fast road and rail links with Central London, with the M1 and A1 just a few miles away.
