Commercial property agents are giving themselves and their profession a very bad name in this recession and are falling out of favour with sellers at an alarming rate. Hungry for stock, they are over-valuing properties, taking them on and then failing to sell them. This leaves commercial property owners angry, frustrated and looking for alternative ways to sell.
As an alternative to commercial property agents, sellers are trying to identify buyers themselves. That way, they save on fees and deal directly with the buyer, as opposed to going through a 3rd party/middle man. With the internet at their disposal, sellers prefer to deal with their properties themselves where they realize that they stand a better chance of selling them than commercial property agents do.
